We had decided to stay in the room on Saturday to spend some time together. The day went pretty well. We had another explosive diaper in the morning. He took a long morning nap, but faught the afternoon nap. He was then ready for bed around 7:30p. We had planned to sightsee on Sunday, but I woke up with a cold, Shane has been throwing up most of the morning and Bryson has been extremely fussy. He naturally has faught sleep all day. We went walking for about 20 minutes or so and ate pizza. We some how managed to lose one of his mittens while walking (Sorry, Jenn. I owe you a set of mittens now). We are now just hanging around the hotel room again.
We are staying at the Marriott Courtyard, does anyone know any restaurants near the hotel? We didn't see many this morning.

Marie - Hope you are all feeling better soon. 3 weeks in Russia takes a lot out of you (I can remember that vividly!) I think the Courtyard is close to the Kremlin and Red Square area. If you can find the area where the Eternal Flame is, there is a "mall" right there. You actually have to go down some stairs to get in. Once in the mall there are "fast food" type places - not bad. Can't wait to hear you are on your way home.
Marie--the pics and video are wonderful, what a little sweetie he is!!! Not sure where the courtyard is, so I cant help you, I know we were frequent visitors to TGI Fridays on Tverskaya!

Marie - sorry to hear Shane is sick. I do not think your real far from a TGI Fridays and McDonalds - did you ask the front desk? They were pretty helpful with us. Bryson is adorable - thanks for posting the pics and video :)
Marie, there is a McDonald up on the corner of Tveryskya Blvd and Tverskya Street, right by Fridays and the market I emailed you about is at the same intersection, maybe a 10 minute walk. They have good maps at the front desk. Beth is right about the mall by the flame at red square, we were there Wednesday. It is underground and the food court in on the bottom level.
Only a couple more days to go and you will be home! Hope you all feel better and get the rest you need! Congratulations!!!
The McDonalds is on Pushkin Square. The TGI Fridays is closer to the Marriott Grand on Tverskaya. If you exit the hotel and turn right, at the end of the street (near the Citibank) is a nice grocery store. It is only a 3 minute walk.
We had fun walking on Arbat St if you can get there. I have no idea how far it is. Hope you guys feel better soon. Bryson is adorable!
